Why We Built This Site
Pennsylvania gives the public access to many court records, but the correct route depends on the record. Lycoming County uses a split clerk structure, so civil and divorce records go through the Prothonotary while criminal Common Pleas records go through the Clerk of Courts. Traffic citations and preliminary criminal matters often begin with Magisterial District Courts, and custody information is separate from court dockets.
This private reference site organizes those official paths by record type, court level, office, and access method. The goal is to make the difference clear before a visitor searches the UJS Web Portal, calls the Williamsport courthouse, checks the sheriff's warrant channel, or requests a certified copy from the office that actually maintains the file.

- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific Lycoming County case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, hours listing, portal feature, or address is current at the moment you use it
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can identify the likely office, but the document has to come from that office.
